Lessons Learnt from Evaluations of Projects and Programs: October 2019

Greensoft GMC was asked by UNDP Kenya to undertake analysis of all common themes identified in the wide number of evaluations, which have been conducted by Greensoft GMC across a range of global locations. A workshop was subsequently held with UNDP to provide valuable lessons for the Kenya REDD+ program. We have identified a number of common pitfalls and best practice across a design and project establishment; project management and governance; capacity; financial management; monitoring and evaluation; and, gender.
