Greensoft Global Management Consultants recently teamed up with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) to deliver a training programme to Lao PDR’s Department of Planning and Finance under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE). The training was important in terms of REDD+ readiness, equipping the Department with knowledge to undertake its role as the National Designated Authority to the Green Climate Fund.

The training programme was delivered by a number of international and national experts, covering a variety of modules including climate smart agriculture, agroforestry and climate change, the circular economy, waste management, nature-based solutions for urban adaptation, sustainable energy and transport, climate finance and investment, and project management.
