Details: The work in the DRC focused on efforts to establish and support sustainable forest management for the benefit of local communities through private sector investment. Our role was to assess the status of existing natural forest through mapping an inventory. Part of our work was to support clients with aspects of sustainable forest management, designing forest landscape programs, reforestation/afforestation and enabling options for livelihood options for local communities. In collaboration with our associates, we use a wide range of options including F remote sensing and GIS.
