The Circular Economy is an emerging framework that is attracting interest from across global societies. The framework has evolved by refining features from a variety of existing schools of thought, such as the Industrial Economy. These philosophies all share the belief that traditional linear economies, based on extraction, use and disposal, have wasted resources and incurred negative externalities. Conversely, the enduring approach of the Circular Economy is restorative and regenerative by design. Circular Economic principles aim to design out waste and keep material at the highest value at all times. A key principle of the Circular Economy is to decouple economic growth from natural use. Our focus in this area includes helping businesses and organizations develop in line with the principles of the Circular Economy. This includes work on strategy development and business planning.
